A simple, fun municipal Rhode Island track just 15 minutes from downtown Providence, this short (6,161 yards) par-70 Rhode Island golf course is a popular destination for novice golfers and weekend hackers. This four-star, top-value Rhode Island course is about 30 miles from Providence, yet well worth for visitors to the area. Designed by Geoffrey Cornish and Brian Silva, this Providence golf course opened in 1993. Since then it's drawn praise from all over the Northeast. The course measures 6,832 yards, and features tight tee shots, tree lined fairways and outstanding course conditions. Green fees are a steal at $25-$35.
